Our first CT/RI IPA blind tasting is done and the results are in!
We have spent the last two months researching and traveling all over Connecticut and Rhode Island to find the best craft IPAs to enter into our blind tasting with 15 craft beer loving judges.
Each beer was placed in a neutral container and each judge was able to sample each beer as many time as needed. The judges then ranked each beer from 1 to 15 (1 being the best) and then submitted the scores. All the scores were totaled up and beer with the lowest score was declared the winner.
The results…
- New Park – Wavelength
- Thomas Hooker – No Filter
- Tribus – I Been Juicing
- Counter Weight – Space Coyote
- Long Live – On the West Side
- Proclamation – Tiny Brite Tanks
- Fox Farm – Burst
- New England Brewing Co – Fuzzy Baby Ducks
- Beer’d – You Like’A Da Juice
- City Steam – Jungle Crush
- Two Roads – Two Juicy
- Grey Sail – Captain’s Daughter
- Smug – Chubby Unicorn
- Foolproof – The Depths

Congratulations to all the breweries that we represented because all the of beers were very good. It was very hard for the judges to rank them, they were all so good and the results were very close!
We are very lucky to live in a part of the US where there are so many great breweries and beers! Keep up the great work!
